Lago Liscia
Il lago Liscia è un lago artificiale della Gallura, nella Sardegna settentrionale, situato tra i comuni di Sant’Antonio di Gallura, Luras, Arzachena, Calangianus e Luogosanto.
Trova origine nello sbarramento del fiume Liscia e di altri torrenti minori mediante una diga a gravità alleggerita alta 69 metri, terminata nel 1962. La capacità massima dell’invaso è di 105 milioni di m3, ma questa ha potuto essere effettivamente raggiunta solo nel 2004, quando si è provveduto al potenziamento della struttura ed al suo collaudo statico.
Il lago artificiale garantisce l’approvvigionamento idrico di tutta la bassa Gallura, dove, specie nella stagione estiva, si ha una forte richiesta d’acqua per via dell’alta concentrazione turistica.
Il Liscia è abbondantemente popolato da persico trota, black bass.
Lake Liscia is an artificial lake in Gallura, in northern Sardinia, located between the municipalities of Sant’Antonio di Gallura, Luras, Arzachena, Calangianus and Luogosanto.
It has its origin in the barrage of the Liscia river and other minor streams by means of a lightened gravity dam 69 metres high, completed in 1962. The maximum capacity of the reservoir is 105 million m3, but this could only be achieved in 2004, when the structure was upgraded and tested statically.
The artificial lake guarantees the water supply of all the lower Gallura, where, especially in the summer season, there is a strong demand for water due to the high concentration of tourism.
The Liscia is abundantly populated by black bass.
